MARK D.
WALDROP D.V.M.
A graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, Dr. Waldrop founded Nashville Cat Clinic in September 1992. He is a member of the AVMA, TVMA, NAVM, Nashville Pet Emergency Clinic, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. Dr. Waldrop has over 19 years of clinical practice, 15 of which have been devoted exclusively to felines. His interests include internal medicine, behavioral counseling, and geriatric medicine. He has also received additional training in VOM™ (Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation), a form of chiropractic adjustment that is well-suited to use in animals. He feels fortunate to be able to do what he truly loves.
Feline medicine has been has been his passion even before Nashville Cat Clinic was a dream. He takes great pride in his work, but his greatest joy is his family. Dr. Waldrop’s family includes his wife Rhonda and his son Joshua, his cat Ameko, and two dogs-Hazel and Copper.
ALAN P. ROSS
D.V.M.
A 1992 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University, Dr. Ross has over 15 years of clinical experience, 8 of which have been in feline exclusive practice. Feline practice is the most rewarding professional environment he has encountered by far.
A member of the AVMA, TVMA, NAVM, and AAFP, Dr. Ross also promotes and celebrates the human-animal bond through membership in the Delta Society.
Dr. Ross brings a love for all aspects of feline practice, with special interests in geriatrics and gastroenterology. His love for feline medicine is exceeded only by his love for his family. He brings to Nashville his wife, Carol, his daughter, Phoebe, and his son, Griffin. They also have two cats, Rosemary and Prophet, and three dogs, Sister, Atticus, and Bunny.
